How “outdoorsy” is your state?

To figure it out, Retale, a shopping app with nearly 4 million users, did some research to build an interactive infographic ranking the best + worst “outdoorsy” states in the country.

Retale analyzed various features of the great outdoors to determine the most “outdoorsy” states, including the number of recreational hiking trails, campgrounds, fly fishing waters, rock climbing locations, sailing schools, and more.

Here’s a look at the top of the rankings:
