Oh, this question is easy. The best ski town is that special mountain town that has easy access to incredible backcountry terrain, is full of friendly and supportive people, and has wildness that is still unmarred by humanity. I cannot, unfortunately, tell you the name of this town, as part of it’s allure is the lack of people in the backcountry:-)

We are so fortunate to have so many great resorts to choose from in this country. I have been able to visit many but would not be able to pick just one. My dream is to be able to ski each destination once in my lifetime. My favorites are those trips spent with good friends and family.

Only been to a few of these… and as a Northern Cal girl, I do love Squaw, but I have to say that the town of Telluride is pretty much beyond wonderful.
