6 Days, 15 Hours: New CO Trail Run Record

Kyle Curtain of Durango, CO, set a new supported FKT on the Colorado Trail late Sunday night. He is the first person to run the route in under a week, with an unofficial time of 6 days 15 hours and 8 minutes. The time will be official once fastestknowntime.com verifies the data. Curtain raised money along the way for Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit focused on introducing kids to the outdoors through hiking and backpacking. He raised about $7,000.

A Tailwind Nutrition-sponsored athlete, Curtain consumed the majority of his calories and electrolytes during the effort with Tailwind’s Endurance Fuel. His favorite flavor—Colorado Cola, a classic cola-inspired flavor.
