Tall, dark, and extreme in oh-so-many ways, world champion freediver Guillaume Nery makes a four-plus-minute “base jump” at the deepest blue hole in the world on breath hold in this much-viewed video. If you haven’t reveled in Nery’s highly artistic interpretation of underwater base jumping yet, this avant garde short set to moody music is sure to enliven your day. Filmed at the 663-foot Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas, this film was shot entirely on breath hold by French freediving champion, model, and underwater performer Julie Gautier.
